It has been a while, but I have finally had some time to immerse myself in one of my favourite lace techniques – Bucks Point. Bobbins wound, pricking made, pins in place, and I’m ready to create the beautiful, delicate motifs so characteristic of Bucks. I find the point ground and the honeycomb ground so therapeutic to work. I am paying very particular attention to using catch pins in all the right places and getting those picots just right.
